to the EUSCEA Annual Conference
2003
Dear Friends,

Welcome to Wroc³aw, Poland, to the second Annual Assembly
of the EUSCEA, staged from 13 through 15 June 2003.
I am very happy to be the host of this conference and will
do my best to honor all of you.
Our conference will be held under the auspices
of the Rector of the University of Wroc³aw, professor dr.
Zdzislaw Latajka. The conference is included into the
events celebrating the 300th Anniversary of the Wroc³aw
University. It has been established in 1702, is one of
the oldest educational institutions in Central-Eastern Europe,
and it is now Poland`s second oldest university after the
Jagellonian University in Kraków and the second largest one

Wroc³aw (Breslau) is the capital city of
Lower Silesia, it is located in the South-West area of Poland.
It can be reached directly by air from: Munich, Frankfurt
and Copenhagen, from other places via Warsaw.
The conference will be held in the Faculty
of Law, Administration and Economy building near main building
of the university, the hotels are located in walking distance.
A post-conference tour will be organized
on Sunday, June 15th for those who are interested in visiting
the romantic Sudety Mountains or the famous spas in the K³odzko
region.
